I am trying to get connected from a week , always high volume of call and disconnected

Been calling back for 4 weeks now! They still have the same dang recording on there stating that they are receiving extremely high call volume and to call back. This is ridiculous!

I have been on hold for 37 minutes...

When something is broke, why fix it? i think they should let you call your local office like before instead of all over kentucky! Its a slower service now , you cant seem to get in touch with a worker for long periods of time. always high call volume. local offices know their areas and usually know the people so theres a better understanding of where your coming from! this was a bad idea! not sure why they had to change the old way? it should have been a state wide vote on how people feel comfortable in applying for benefits of making changes or just doing a interview for services. can we change back now?

I have been trying to do my recertification for over a month now, I work so I can't get into the office during office hours. Every time I call I get the same recording everyone else is getting "high volume of calls"blah blah blah "call back at a later time" all at various times during the day so they can't use the excuse that I'm calling at the wrong times. Called yesterday at almost 4 and thought I actually got thru, but no, I was told office hours are 8 to 430 and to call back during normal business hours! Wtf seriously? I got no assistance this month, the little bit I am eligible for since I work, and now it's come down to bills or feed the baby! Our government at its finest. Try helping people who are actually TRYING to do better for themselves instead of those who are just looking for a handout. The website is a joke. It just continues to say if u received assistance last month u will also have it this month, LIE, as long as u have started ur recertification... How can that happen when u can't get thru???
