They have the best prices on meat. Great service.
The owners and the workers are helpful, friendly, and will do whatever they can to help you get what you need. Great sandwiches at the meat counter. But bar none you will not find a better place to buy meat. The bottom steak or pork chop or chicken tender will be as nice as the one on top. The owner is one of the last full service butchers around. If you are ever through Dixon, take a cooler and buy some steaks. You will NOT be disappointed.
Mack always has the best fresh-cut meats! The deli sandwiches and pizza are top notch as well. There are a plethora of stores that sell Hunt Brothers Pizza, but NONE of them are as good as Townsend's!
